Our merge/purge process has been continually developed and improved over the past 25 years to an efficient and accurate product for today.
Ensure Data Accuracy
CMDI offers change-of-address (NCOALink™) processing. Our internally developed software processes data against the 0-18 month United States Postal Service® Change-of-Address database and returns the original addresses as well as the new addresses.

Keep Your Lists Clean
With capability of handling 10s of millions of raw input records, our process uniformly converts and standardizes all records, performs a suite of hygiene fixes, matches and identifies duplicate records, matches suppression records, purges duplicates and suppressed records, and compiles result reports and counts for review and approval.
NCOA & Data Enhancements
In addition to prospect processing and helping you tailor your housefile, CMDI’s Direct Response Services team can help you enhance your data through the National Change of Address database and additional services such as congressional district appends, and suppressions such as apartments, nursing homes, and deceased.
Data Entry & Hygiene
Your data is your most valuable asset, but without proper data entry and hygiene routines, it can be a struggle to gather the data you need. Strict timelines can make your search for the right information even more stressful.
The professional data entry department at CMDI enters new records and adds updates to existing records directly into the online database.
As each record is keyed, a list of possible duplicate records already on the file will be presented to the keyer for review. This greatly reduces the chances of creating duplicate records.
