#RevoltDC Hackathon Live Blog

7:01Team Agora is the RevoltDC 2013 winner! Congrats. The winning team "Agora" - developed a tool to drive voter engagement as well as to encourage your politician or candidate running for a seat (in your district, city, state, etc) to know exactly how their voters felt on issues and for the voters to know exactly how the politician stood on issues. They integrated mobile, sharing, donation functionality among others. In addition to other API's they also integrated one of #RevoltDC's sponsoring API's - Twilio - into their tool.Yevent (from AT&T) and the winners: Seif Kobrosly, Ryan Archer, Cameron Gallarno, Ahmad Rahim, Elsa Sze

5:10The jury is getting sorted out for the project presentations.
5:00Put down your pencils and pass your work to the font of the class. No cheating please.
2:44Two hours and 15 minutes left of hacking fun and the press is here.
2:10I think this is the youngest of the code monkey teams:
12:50CMDI Team hard at work:
12:35Lunch has been served. Everyone seems to have a plan and is quietly slinging code.
11:02Fritos and RedBull (The Red Edition of course), the breakfast of champions.
10:57Time to place your bets on the strongest API nerd herd.
10:04
9:43Unfortunately people slinging code don't make for the most exciting action shots. Lots of deep thoughts going on here.
9:15The Crimson team is ready to support your API hacking needs. Bring it on!
9:01And we are off. All the API providers are giving a quick spiel on how to use their APIs.
8:43The excellent CMDI Hackathon signage is up.
8:35We've got a great space on 15th street and the developers are starting to roll in. We are up to 180 programers and counting.
