New Crimson Dashboards Coming Dec. 12

Starting next Monday, Crimson should look different when you log in. While the features and locations of items will not change, we’ve updated the dashboards with a new color scheme, layout, and a few new features.

To assist during this transition, the Crimson Support Team will offer two webinars next Monday, December 12 at noon and 3 p.m. EST.

Some of the new changes you’ll be seeing:

  • Recent Updates on Login: next to the login section, using your same username and password, you’ll see a list of important updates from the CMDI blog.

  • Fundraiser Profile: this set of cards will help you see the key fundraising numbers from your campaign’s fundraisings. Click on the dropdowns to see expanded statistics. You will also be able to look up the data from an individual fundraiser. This new feature is helpful for managing a major giving program or tracking fundraiser results.

  • Dark/Light Mode: Crimson now has a dark mode. You’ll be able to toggle between a light background and a dark gray background in the settings dropdown of your dashboard.

  • Updated Giving History: this box on People Profile displays a timeline of the donor’s contributions, pledges, soft credits, and consecutive giving.

  • Responsive Design: the new dashboards are more responsive and faster, so that you can use Crimson easier on your mobile devices.

  • Moves Management Suite: visualize the major giving process from start to finish with drag-and-drop cards displaying the donor's name, donor cycle stage, proposed donation amount, most recent contribution, and the deadline for following up.

Session I: Noon on December 12

Session II: 3 p.m. on December 12

This is the first refresh to Crimson since 2018, and we hope that you'll join the Crimson Support Team next week for a walk-through.
